My crowd is bigger than yours: Atiku, Buhari invade strongholds

Supporters of the two front line presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Muhammadu Buhari of Peoples Democratic Party and All Progressives Congress respectively, have been celebrating the unwieldy crowds that turned out to welcome each of them at the Daura and Adamawa rallies.

On Thursday, the two candidates “invaded” each other’s stronghold, as Buhari visited Adamawa, home state of Atiku; while Atiku was in Daura, Buhari’s home town, as part of their campaigns for the 2019 presidential election.

Videos of the campaigns showing massive turnout for each candidate in the opposition’s stronghold have been trending on social media, with each side claiming undeniable and certain victory in the other’s backyard.
