City were handed a two-year suspension from competing in European competitions by UEFA earlier this month while the reigning Premier League champions also received a £25million fine for FFP breaches.
City’s punishment sent shockwaves across Europe but they have now registered an appeal in a bid to quash their suspension for ‘serious breaches’ of UEFA’s financial fair play rules.
